Spectacular armchair, with large wingback backrest, in the style of tom dixon. Although not noticed, the design of this very special armchair comes very close to the well-known examples of top designer tom dixon. It is therefore quite possible that we are still dealing with an original copy of this contemporary design classic! Tom dixon's wingback armchair is inspired by traditional 17th century balloon-like furniture in british clubs. Out of six different prototypes, the wingback eventually became the winner and was launched on the market in 2007. In 2015, the seat was adapted to ensure the sublime comfort even better and to reinforce the particularly striking silhouette. The offered copy was probably executed to the first design. The wings of the armchair offer pleasant acoustic protection and a certain form of security so that one can really close oneself off from the outside world. The black fabric feels very soft and is still very neat, the traces of use express themselves in a few punch marks on the front legs, created by the housekeeping of the hotel where this armchair has stood for the first part of its life. A real modern design classic and an armchair for those who really dare to choose something different than usual!
