Pair of space age UFO table lamps in white Murano glass, modernist 1970s.

This exceptional pair of table lamps represents a timeless classic of Space Age design from the 1970s. Their rarity lies in being a perfectly matched set, ideal for stylishly illuminating bedside tables in designer bedrooms or enhancing consoles and bookshelves in modernist environments. Subject and style: the iconic 'mushroom' or 'UFO' design is a manifesto of the futuristic aesthetic of the time, characterised by fluid, spherical shapes with no edges. Material and finish: the diffusers are made of precious opaline white Murano glass, blown in a single piece. This excellent material ensures a mirror-like exterior shine and perfect shielding of the internal bulb. Dimensions: 15 X 15 h cm (each lamp). Condition: excellent vintage condition.
