Art deco ceramic subject representing a pair of pheasants, one pecking and the other standing up turning around. The cracked white earthenware is shaded with gray on the heads and necks of the birds, as well as on the relief (plants and rocks) decorating the uneven ground which serves as a base for the subject. The sides of this base are a deep gray. The beak and eyes of the pheasants are darker, almost black. The sculpture is placed on a 4 cm high dark wooden base, the underside of which is covered in navy velvet. Some of the photos were taken with the base upside down to show the velvet. Subject in excellent condition, recently found at the bottom of a cupboard during an inheritance; it comes from the grandparents.
