About the designer: Jean-Pierre Vitrac was a French designer born in 1929 in Lyon and died in 2017 in Paris. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon before specializing in industrial design at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. The free-standing coat rack is in very good general condition, with some minimal marks due to the passage of time, it is robust and very practical due to the fact that the hooks pivot on the axis which allows clothes to be stored without having to superimposed effect, lower part designed for storing umbrellas which is also adjustable in height as well as the base which has been designed to collect water. Well thought out and therefore practical, simple and elegant lines which allow it to be easily adapted and adopted by different interiors and different rooms: entrance hall, office, professional setting due to its sobriety, etc. I remain at your disposal for any further information if necessary!
