Carlo Hauner coffee table

Iconic teak wood coffee table designed by Carlo Hauner and manufactured by Format Italy 60s. The table is divided into 4 cubes, each of which has a lid, making it very practical to use. Carlo Hauner (Brescia 1927-1997) is known for his designs for Forma, a Brazilian furniture company that brought many iconic designs to life. Carlo Hauner established the Forma company in Brazil after moving to Buenos Aires in 1938 and designed simultaneously, often in collaboration with Martin Eisler. In 1958, Carlo Hauner returned to Italy where he established the Italian branch of the company. He has worked for many highly respected clients and produced many iconic models. His models are very popular in the design world.
