original wooden bilboquet

Pretty old bilboquet in turned wood varnished in two shades, highlighted by even darker rings. Its shape, a thick disc pierced in its center, makes it a completely original bilboquet! I had never seen one of this shape! Maybe an original or artisanal creation. I don't know if it's just decorative or if you can also play trying to catch the disc in a horizontal position (i'm taking any information). In addition to being a nice decorative object, it is functional: no shine, no crack, the string is solid. But it does not hide its age and the use that has been made of it: small spots and marks of "blows" on one side of the disc with flaking of the varnish, the string is a little worn and "colored" by time: no very visible stain, rather a uniformly ecru shade. It is 25 cm high. The disc is about 11.5 cm in diameter and about 5 cm in maximum thickness. The string is 53 cm long. It weighs about 300g.
