Delaherche Cup

Rustic sandstone cut by auguste delaherche (1857-1940). - Auguste delaherche began producing art ceramics in 1883. In 1887, at the exhibition of decorative arts in paris, he received a first gold medal, then a second, at the universal exhibition of 1889. Essentially concerned with the relationship between form, colour and material, delaherche favours simple and robust forms inspired by oriental, greek or rustic pottery.
