Cobalt vase, Danish design, 1970s, production: Denmark

The artistic cobalt-coloured glass vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark. A minimalist, geometric vase made of thick glass in an intense shade of cobalt. The simple, cylindrical form set on a wide base creates a harmonious, sculptural silhouette that attracts the eye with its depth of colour and the shine of the glass. A beautiful example of modern Scandinavian design from the mid-20th century – perfect as a solo decorative accent or for displaying single flowers.
