Set of four Metaform Cirkel dining chairs 1980s

This set of four dining chairs was designed in the 1980s by Karel Boonzaaijer and Pierre Mazairac for Metaform. The model is known as Cirkel and is a clear example of Dutch postmodern design, where function and form are balanced. The chairs have a slim metal tubular frame with flowing lines that provide both structural and visual direction to the design. The seat and backrest are comfortably upholstered and support an active yet relaxed sitting posture. Due to the open construction, the chairs appear light and remain visually spacious in various interior styles. This set was purchased by us and is in neat vintage condition, with light signs of use appropriate to its age and use. The chairs are stable, comfortable, and ready to use as dining chairs or as a characterful set at a table or workspace. Height 78 cm, seat height 47 cm, width 52 cm, depth 52 cm.
