The 'Envelope' vase produced by HSG Ząbkowice in the 1970s is an example of Polish pressed glass from the modernist period. Its cylindrical form is decorated with a rhythmic, symmetrical geometric relief reminiscent of envelopes – a motif achieved through precise pressing technology. The transparent pink, characteristic of pink glass, shows subtly varied saturation: more intense at the base, lighter towards the top edge. The exterior surface is glossy and reflects light beautifully, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the pattern. The interior remains smooth, contrasting with the tactile relief on the outside. The vase is in the style of Central European modernism, devoid of any additional decorations, focusing on purity of form and balance between function and decoration. Condition – very good: no losses, chips, colour changes or signs of use; the surface has retained its original shine. The slightly pink glass and regular relief pattern evoke the spirit of the 1970s, when even the most utilitarian objects sought harmony between utility and aesthetic expression. The vase fits well in both classic collector's interiors and mid-century modern spaces. It can be combined with other pressed glass vessels – especially in pink, blue or amber – to create a cohesive colour composition. It looks suggestive on a veneered sideboard, accompanied by organic accessories: wooden bowls, ceramic figures or minimalist candlesticks. It is equally attractive as a single accent on a shelf or grouped with graphite or white posters on a muted wall.
