Scandinavian stool by Poul Hundevad, Denmark 1950's

Scandinavian hundevad pulse stool from the 1950's. Made in denmark after an old model. Model ph43 "guldhøjstole" in solid oak and black leather. Beautiful state of conservation, the wood has been restored and the leather replaced. Superb manufacturing quality, this vintage piece is a classic of danish design, very well referenced in the history of design. Vintage leather will be supplied with. The label on the back reads "folding from the earlier bronze age circa 1300 bc found in a funerary temple near vamdrup, copy executed after the oldest surviving piece of furniture in scandinavia. Folded dimensions: 50 X 48 X 18 cm.
