Antique statue lamp "The Hunt Louis XIII" signed LSF

Important antique statue lamp "The Hunt Louis XIII", bearing the LSF marking directly moulded onto the sculpture. This mark is attributed to the Parisian house Lambin, Saguet & Fouchet, a 19th-century manufacturer specialising in decorative zinc art objects: statuettes, candlesticks, lamps, and torchères. The sculpture depicts a gentleman hunter in Louis XIII period costume, holding game in one hand and raising a torch supporting the light fixture with the other. Very fine detailing on the face, costume, cape, and game. The piece has a plaque on its base titled "THE HUNT LOUIS XIII". Dimensions: figure up to the torch approx. 43 cm; maximum width of the sculpture approx. 15 cm; height of the whole excluding the lampshade approx. 66/67 cm, including the base. Wooden base approximately 3 cm thick. Sculpture in decorative zinc/artistic regulus with a bronze-like patina, mounted on a wooden base. Sold with its large antique fringed lampshade. Beautiful preserved antique patina. Signs of age and use visible in the photos. The lampshade shows signs of age as well as worn or missing fringes in places. Old electrical installation: inspection recommended before use. A very beautiful antique decorative object, original and with a strong presence.
