Vintage Swedish mid-century olive green leather lounge chair by Gote Møbler – 1970s

An exceptional vintage Swedish lounge chair designed and manufactured by Gote Møbler in Nässjö, Sweden during the 1970s. Renowned for its deep, ergonomic seating and outstanding comfort, this beautifully crafted chair is a superb example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. The chair features a distinctive button-tufted diamond-stitched backrest, generously padded armrests, and a strong bentwood beech frame, combining both elegance and durability. Upholstered in thick, supple olive green leather, the quality of both the materials and craftsmanship is exceptional. The leather has recently been professionally cleaned and conditioned and remains in excellent vintage condition, with no rips, scuffs, or major marks — only a rich natural patina consistent with age, adding warmth and character to the piece.
