Tapestry made from a Jean Lurçat cardboard, representing the "fanfare". This tapestry was given as a gift to my parents by a friend who had owned it for many years; they exhibited it for nearly 40 years in the family home. This muro-decor was printed in 500 copies in black - this one bears the nr 156 b. The cartridge sewn on the back of the tapestry bears the artist's autograph signature. The tapestry was mounted as a hanging, with top and bottom bars allowing it to be hung on the wall without a frame. The weaving is in very good condition: small repair on the back on the rear canvas: the tapestry is not damaged.
