Description
The tenera series was designed in the late 1950s by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia, whose name disappeared in 1969 to make way for royal copenhagen. The sets in this series were designed by other artists. Thus these earthenware whistling birds, whose decoration is due to the norwegian artist kari christensen. They are marked under the base "214" for the decor created by kari christensen and "2992" for the form created in 1961 by nils thorsson. They were produced between 1963 and 1973.
