Antique rattan and bamboo side table, late 19th century

Very pretty side table or old pedestal table in woven rattan on a bamboo structure, french antique from the end of the 19th century. In fairly good overall condition, the rectangular tray features different weaving patterns and cheerfully organized colors of blue, black, yellow and natural. The 4 curved legs, in the japanese fashion of the end of the 19th century, are made of bamboo. The structure of the table is lined with 2 different sizes of bamboo, one thick and the other thinner and curved in the corners, this method makes the table solid and stable despite its age. Look carefully at the photos which are part of the description. Lots of charm for this authentic side table, handmade, in the tradition of rattan work, very fashionable in the 1900s.
