Workshop stool in vintage patinated solid wood

The stool is in very good condition, no breakage or missing. It is stable and strong, and all assemblies are well fixed. It is made of solid wood, consisting of four feet of square section of about 4 cm side, a top that has been cut from a large board 3 cm thick, and four reinforcement bars, which are large trunnions. The stool was painted a long time ago, and the paint has many traces of use, revealing the wood underneath, where it is worn, which creates a pretty patina, and gives it a crazy charm. The top is also marked in hollow of a few strokes, while it was probably used in a workshop. It has been waxed entirely with natural beeswax, and for maintenance it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a clean cloth. It dates from the 60s.
