Napoleon III chair in blackened and gilded wood, featuring a backrest with a rounded top, a turned wooden structure, and two horizontal round rungs, with a square seat padded and covered in green toile de Jouy fabric bordered with a lighter green trim, ending in four legs connected by six stretchers, the front elements also turned and decorated with gilded patterns. Stable and lightweight, this chair is in good overall condition. It has been fully cleaned, polished, and the seat fabric has been replaced. There are signs of use, some paint loss, and partially faded gilding that contribute to its authentic patina.
