Napoleon III console table

All-sided console table in blackened pear wood, rectangular in shape in brass marquetry with a la reine motif. Its wrap top also features a la reine marquetry in finely chiseled brass. This double top is bordered by a molding on the front and on the sides. The belts are each highlighted with bronze rods, this set rests on four curved louis XV legs, also inlaid with brass compositions and molded on the edge. They are decorated with spigots at the top, and end with recessed clogs. The rear part of this base slides and forms a drawer. This system supports the top once unfolded. Open, the latter has a recessed frame at the front and rear, straight sides and slightly rounded projecting corners. The center is dark with green felt, surrounded by gold patterned braid.
