Beer pitcher (can) in engraved ambrino blown glass

2517 - from the art nouveau period, this large beer pitcher, also called canette, in venetian blown glass ambrino and engraved in good condition. attributed to F. T. Legras No cracks or splinters, just a small shock at the base without gravity. Dressing with a fine intaglio pattern of hop leaves and fruits. Handle stuck hot. Trace of the blower's cane polished at the heel with many micro-scratches attesting to its age. Atypical shape found in the catalogue of the verreries & cristalleries de st. Denis pantin and the quatre chemins réunies of 1899 (see photo). Height 307 mm X 124 mm. Weight 1140 g.
