Empire period mahogany cabinet secretary

Rare secrétaire-cabinet (or secrétaire à retrait) from the Empire period in mahogany veneer. It consists of a lower section with 3 drawers, the first of which conceals a leather-covered writing slope. The finish has been completely redone on the secrétaire. There are some missing veneers on various parts of the piece (see photos). A veneer graft has been made on the front of one of the drawers. 2 unidentified stamps are visible (see photos). Total height of the cabinet is 173 cm (of which 79 cm is for the upper section). Total depth of the cabinet is 54.5 cm (of which 33.5 cm is for the upper section).
