Small ceramic vase from the Accolay workshops, with a slightly curved shape and flared neck. It features a beautiful abstract decoration with free and graphic lines, combining shades of orange-red, dark green, and white on a granulated violet-brown background. The contrast between the matte surface and the glazed patterns adds depth to this piece, typical of the creative spirit of Accolay ceramics. The Accolay pottery emerged in Burgundy after the Second World War, driven by four former students of Alexandre Kostanda. Their production, particularly inventive in the 1950s and 1960s, is distinguished by the diversity of shapes, glazes, and decorations, delighting enthusiasts of 20th-century French ceramics today. Dimensions: Height: 11 cm. Diameter: 7.3 cm. Condition: perfect condition. Origin: Accolay, Burgundy, France. Period: 1950s-1960s (stylistic attribution).
