Oil painting on isorel by the spanish painter joaquim hildago pages depicting a wooded landscape dated 1988. Artwork signed lower left. The artist represented here a wooded square in the town of tossa de mar in the catalan region of empordà, a seaside town that also welcomed georges bataille and andré masson in the 20th century. The work is built around a tree, probably a pine, bending obliquely above a basin reflecting the foliage. The expressionist touch accentuates the dynamism of the composition. The village stands out with the white back, brushed by large bright white touches. Very good overall condition.
