180cm floor lamp from the 1950s

This original floor lamp, in its shape and design, is aptly named "Snowball" because of its very particular shape and the light it reflects. It is composed of a central structure made of a core and brass spokes which end in bouquets of metal stems at the end of which are placed crystal-style pearls and flowers and, in the center of each, a socket and a lightbulb. Originally, the stems which form the bouquets are white. This example has been modified, the rods have been lacquered black. Surprising to dare to modify this great classic of lighting design from the 50s, but the quality of the work carried out and the rendering proves right the person who authorized this change of color. The result of this change manages to enhance the magnificent original version. When turned off, this floor lamp is like a shrub, a bit like a dandelion flower, beautiful and elegant. When lit, it appears like a captivating ball of light with incredible reflections. In the dark, the structure disappears and gives way to this magical ball of light! Over time, this floor lamp has been re-electrified to add a dimmer, which once again is an excellent idea for varying its brightness according to the desired atmosphere. Thanks to the designer and the daring stranger who dared to reinterpret it. It is made up of 17 bulbs. You can personalize the floor lamp by installing, according to your tastes, opaque, silver, gold bulbs... Round, long... In very good condition, just missing two flowers in the center of a bouquet.
