Designed in 1960 by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen, the AJ luminaire emits downward-directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize lighting. The inside of the shade is painted white to make the light softer and more comfortable. This model from the 2010s has some minor flaws in the shade's joint and interior.
