Old Gien cup and saucer – ironstone – golden floral decoration

A very beautiful antique set consisting of a cup and its saucer made of Gien Opaque Porcelain, both bearing the famous mark from the château. It features a lovely black printed floral design, delicately enhanced with gold, and a gold rim on the edges. An especially elegant and rather uncommon antique decoration. A very lovely piece of antique Gien tableware, ideal for a collection or a beautiful table setting. The set is in very good general condition for its age. The gilding is still well-preserved. Very slight chips are visible on the edge of the cup, see photos. A few glaze cracks related to its age, but the set remains very clean.
