The main structure is made of solid black walnut, with perfectly executed dovetail joints, ensuring exceptional strength and remarkable aesthetics. The two sliding front panels are in walnut, and their structure is reinforced by 44 small 10mm black walnut slats, arranged in front of a background of elm burl, creating a subtle play of shadows and light. Inside, the walnut shelves rest on discreet wooden supports, a trademark of Ateliers Vau Fontaine, replacing the unsightly iron brackets usually used. On the right, there is an English drawer made of walnut and elm. Finally, a secret compartment is located in a place known only to the owners. All designed and crafted to last for centuries.
