A classic of norwegian design - the svanette sofa, designed by ilmar relling and haldor vik for the svane ekornes factory, manufactured in the 1960s. The mattress is made on perfectly preserved, original springs. The wooden extension can be treated not only as a handy table or storage space, but also thanks to it you can easily transform the sofa into a fold-out couch by opening the extension and placing one of the backrest cushions on it. The seat was made anew from a foam spacer, I.e. A high-quality sponge with increased elasticity, and the cushions were preserved in their original condition. And were trimmed with high-quality upholstery material. The wooden extension is made of teak wood as well as most of the sofa structure and the frame at the back is made of beech wood. The whole has undergone a complete renovation and has been protected with a hard oil and wax resistant to dirt and water, and the beech frame has been covered with a semi-matt varnish. A gem of norwegian design from the communist era. It looks great and immediately attracts attention. The sofa is easy to integrate into the interior of an apartment, studio or workshop.
