Ghoum carpet in high quality wool called "kork" and silk made on silk, circa 1960. With its prayer rug pattern. The niche, mihrab, indicating the sacred city the main motif. This motif is called "the window of paradise" and also symbolizes the immortal life in paradise with its "tree of life" which is in the middle of the niche and the birds of paradise. The carpet also has a rich border adorned with flowers and birds. Dimensions: 161x103 cm. Condition: the carpet is slightly across.
