The staircase is made of fine wood and finished with authentic period hardware. The wood color is mahogany brown- burgundy. The wood grain is in good aesthetic condition, without cracks or major defects. The joints are lightly stained with a slightly dark-colored resin-based putty. The periodization is based on the original hardware, which is characteristic of the period after 1900 to 1950, and on the type of polish used. No industrial varnish was used and there are no traces of restoration, pickling or other interventions.
