Hollow plate in ironstone Boulenger & Cie Choisy

Antique hollow plate (before 1920) made of ironstone, stamped (red stamp) "b & cie / f", i.e., Boulenger & Cie in Choisy-le-Roi, and (in relief) "d 2". Decorated in shades of pink with a finely detailed 18th-century pastoral scene: a shepherdess offering a tuft of grass to her white goat. No damage except for a few old chips on the foot, slight signs of wear on the edge of the rim, and a small nick on the side (see detail photos), no usage scratches. Diameter 23 cm.
