Boulenger & Cie Choisy ironstone deep plate

Antique (before 1920) ironstone soup plate, stamped (red stamp) "b & cie / f", Ie, boulenger & cie in choisy-le-roi, and (intaglio) "d 2". Pink monochrome decoration of a finely detailed 18th century country scene: a shepherdess holding out a tuft of grass to her white goat. No damage except for a few old chips on the heel, slight traces of rubbing on the edge of the rim and a small chip on the edge (see detailed photos), no scratches from use. Diam. 23 cm.
