Charming fine earthenware dish from the Salins-les-Bains factory, decorated with the "Montreal" motif in a mustard yellow and black version full of pep. This model from the 50s and 60s, inspired by household linen patterns, is part of the so-called tea towel series, typical of the graphic aesthetic of the time. Its elongated, very elegant and tapered navette shape gives it a resolutely vintage look. Perfect for a retro table, to present olives, lemon slices or as a simple decorative object in a kitchen with mid-century charm. Salins France stamp on the back, with mention of the "Montreal yellow" motif: the Salins-les-Bains earthenware factory, founded in the 19th century in the Jura region, distinguished itself in the 1950s with its bold and colorful creations, which became emblematic of post-war French design. Known for its modern decor and elegant shapes, Salins has captured the spirit of the Trente Glorieuses with pieces that combine functionality and graphic aesthetics. Very good vintage condition. Very shiny, no chips or cracks. Some slight signs of wear over time. Length 28 cm, width 15 cm, height 3 cm.
