Green vintage bauhaus wardrobe cupboard manufactured by mücke-melder, 1930-1939. Made with chrome-plated tubular steel and lacquered wood in light green colour. This design was extremely coveted in the region, as thonet-mundus had their factory in slovakia, manufacturing their signature bent wood and tubular steel furniture. There is an equal split between the 3 doors of the closet (50-50-50cm). The left doors open to the part with shelves and the two on the right open into the same space for coats. The wardrobe features a sturdy coat rack and a sectioned shelf made from round wooden sticks made for hats or light boxes. The wardrobe is in perfect condition, the lacquer shows close to no signs of age. There is one shelf missing, and one of the keyholes is missing its original metal ring. However, the locking system is fully functional, the glass vitrine is intact, and all elements are perfectly structurally sound. The hinges are in perfect condition and since this type of furniture tends to be fairly light, they show no signs of the weight of the doors dragging them down over time. The wardrobe was completed with a glass vitrine element on top, however, this is sold separately as it is not attached to the wardrobe and it's meant to be hanging on the wall by two screws.
