Small vegetable dish on a stand HB Choisy-le-Roi decoration Pine late 19th century

Small vegetable dish on a stand in fine earthenware with a printed blue Fir decoration. Its silhouette on a pedestal, its two side handles, and its oval shape make it an elegant form, today as decorative as it is intended for the table. Beautiful stamp Sce PIN HB Choisy le Roi: this piece bears the mark HB Choisy-le-Roi, used by Hautin & Boulenger. The Fir decoration, characterised by its stylised foliage and its vegetal frieze, belongs to the productions of the factory during the period 1836-1863, one of the most sought after in the history of Choisy-le-Roi. In good antique condition, with a uniform old crackle in the glaze, consistent with the age of the piece, and a very small discreet chip under the base, invisible when displayed. The decoration is well preserved and has a beautiful patina of use (see photos). Dimensions: oval dish 26 × 14 cm, vegetable dish 18 × 11 cm, total height 10 cm, depth of the vegetable dish 6.5 cm. An earthenware piece from another century, chosen for its elegance as much as for its rarity.
