Description
Console designed by Italian designer Ettore Sottsass in 1981 for Zanotta. We find the famous “Bacterio” laminate pattern imagined in 1978 and typical of certain Memphis pieces of the time. The half-spherical top rests on three legs in chrome-plated silver steel and a central leg in black lacquered wood, and two legs in silver steel. Everything is in excellent condition. Edition: Zanotta, circa 1981. Bibliography: Giuliana Gramigna, Repertorio 1950-1980, Mondadori, similar model reproduced p. 513.
