Vintage Space Age wall lamp Murano glass by Mazzega Italy

Elevate your interior with this magnificent iconic wall sconce from the 1970s, an exceptional creation from the prestigious Italian glassmaker Mazzega on the island of Murano. A true testament to the Space Age era, this light fixture perfectly embodies the refinement and craftsmanship of mid-century Venetian glass masters. The globe diffuser stands out with its organic shapes sculpted in transparent blown glass, housing at its core a stunning inclusion of amber/yellow blown glass. This central amber hue allows for a particularly warm, enveloping, and poetic light, while eliminating direct glare from the bulb. The globe rests on an elegant and sleek chrome metal structure, typical of the era. With its timeless design, this sconce will fit seamlessly into a decidedly vintage, Mid-Century Modern interior, as well as in a contemporary decor seeking a strong statement piece.
