Oval art deco wooden mirror with carved roses

Period: ca. 1920-1950. This large oval mirror has a light but warm wood frame, probably birch wood. The frame is decorated with a series of beautifully carved roses and leaves on the top, bottom and two sides. The inner edge of the frame has a frieze. The glass is beveled, which is always a sign of quality. Beveling and oxidation marks scattered on the surface indicate that the glass is of a certain age and is probably the original glass. This mirror is from the beginning to the middle of the 20th century with roses which shows a strong art deco influence. Condition: very good. Mirror in good condition with a few tarnish marks here and there. The joints in the frame are visible; these are not cracks. Dimensions: 88 cm high, 58 cm wide, 3 cm deep, 5.6 kg.
