Beautiful set of two side tables, designed by the French designer Mathieu Matégot in the early 1950s. The tables are made of perforated metal with brass details. The characteristic perforation pattern and the elegant, tapered legs give the set its unmistakable Matégot signature. The deep green colour and the characterful patina provide a particularly beautiful, lived-in appearance. A sculptural set in which refined French design and playful lines come together. Despite their age, both tables are in good vintage condition. The beautiful patina and signs of use contribute to the authentic character of the set.
