Vintage globe 1930 terrestrial world map J.Forest - 37cm

Old world map of the brand j.forest in plaster, paper, ivory bakelite and brass circa 1930 in good condition. Rare piece in this state. A splendid and huge art deco piece in good overall condition. The card is splendid, the brass frame is very elegant, and the ivory bakelite base is atypical and delicious to say the least. It is not dated but we english africa (so we are close to the 20s, and the indian empire which will become the indian union in 1947 and india in 1950. It measures 49cm in height, 30cm in diameter and 30cm deep.
