The pots are very old, and they are beautiful objects of popular art. They were used for food preservation. They were covered with a piece of burlap tied with a string. They're not cracked. Some old pops menus at the edge of the bottoms visible in the photos. Very beautiful cracked earthenware, with very rich shades.
