IKEA B9009 telescopic desk lamp, 1980s

Telescopic desk lamp B9009 produced by IKEA in the 1980s. Its geometric design combines a white angular base and lampshade with a telescopic chrome metal structure. The articulated arms allow the lamp to be extended and the light to be directed as needed. Compact when folded, it reveals a much more graphic silhouette once extended. A beautiful example of IKEA design from the 1980s, straddling postmodern aesthetics and functionality. In good vintage condition with some slight signs of use consistent with its age. Please note: the lamp works perfectly when plugged in, but the built-in switch is broken and no longer functional. Therefore, it is turned on and off by plugging and unplugging the lamp directly.
