Vintage French Art Deco side table lamp Chrome and Opaline 1950s Accent light

This is a magnificent art deco table lamp from the 1950s. In shiny chrome and enameled gold metal, it stands like an olympic torch, with a heavy metal base and a white opaline shade at the top. The stem changes from shiny chrome to gold metal and back again. The on/off switch is located in the base. Its art deco shape is very striking and will look great in an art deco themed room. This is an ideal gift for anyone who loves french art deco. It could also be an ideal prop for any production with a vintage art deco stage. In good vintage condition with a few items to note. Unfortunately it has been stored in a french barn and there are spots of oxidation bubbling through the chrome finish and even the bulb holder. There are also age-related surface scuffs and a dent in the gold portion of the shank. Although this is evidence of its great age you have to accept that it is not perfect, in fact I like that, I like seeing the history of a piece in its surfaces. The condition of the item is already reflected in the price. It is clearly in working order. If you are concerned about its safety, you should have it tested by a professional. Approximate measurements: height - 53 cm base diameter - 15 cm cable length - 132 cm it works with a standard b22 bayonet bulb (not included).
