George Nelson Action Office Roll-Top Desk for Herman Miller 1960s

Action office desk, designed by george nelson in the 1960s for herman miller u.s.a. It has a polished cast aluminum frame, the sides are laminated in very dark green and the roll-top is made of teak or walnut. The roll-top nicely rolls up to open or close the writing surface, which is made of light grey formica with cream plastic at the front side. At the end of the top it has an open storage compartment, which is now organized for hanging files. The front offers three narrow drawers divided into small, practical compartments. This desk impresses with its design and functionality. A design classic. The desk is in good original condition. Some tiny damages to the laminate at the sides, as visible in the pictures.
