Murrine glass - Murano glassmaker - multicolored millefiori decoration and gold parison

This superb glass is made from blown murano glass. It's a multi-colored glass decorated with murrine, these pretty millefiori inclusions. It is covered with a fine gold glitter parison. This is a superb collector's glass made by a master glassmaker. This technique consists of mixing colored glass and millefiori canes and covering it with a translucent golden parison. In good general condition, it is not signed. It measures 9 cm in height and 6.5 cm in diameter.
