French Empire Style Bronze 4-Light Chandelier with Swan Detail Arms.The chandelier has a decorative central column, finished with an attractive acorn-shaped finial to the base. Four graceful arms extend from the centre, each beautifully formed in the shape of a swan, leading to round candle-style drip holders. The original card candle drips remain in place and have attractive age-related wear, adding to the authentic vintage character of the piece. The chandelier is suspended from a five-link chain, terminating in a traditional cup-style ceiling fitter.The light has original French twin core braided wiring and takes 4 small screw in bulbs E14s. The chandelier has a beautiful deep aged patina, reflecting its age and character. The original card candle drips show some age-related wear, adding to its authentic vintage charm. There is some minor fraying to the decorative braid covering the wiring; however, the wiring itself remains intact. As with all vintage electrical items, we recommend having the chandelier inspected and fitted by a qualified electrician before use.
