Handcrafted chairs in solid pine and woven straw – France, circa 1950

Set of four handcrafted chairs in solid pine and woven straw, made in France in the 1950s. Their turned wood frames, combined with backrests composed of two vertical supports and a woven straw crossbar, reflect the simplicity and authenticity of period rural furniture. The seats, hand-woven from natural straw, have a beautiful golden patina and offer firm comfort. The cylindrical legs, connected by stretchers, ensure stability and sturdiness.
