Empire Curtain Bedside Table

Rare empire period (not style) bedside table with a door opening onto a niche with interior shelf and a sliding curtain opening onto a second niche. Total dimensions: height 80cm, width 38.5cm and depth 37.5cm. Upper niche of interior dimensions: height 18cm width 30cm depth 25cm. Lower niche of dimensions: height 37cm, width 30cm and depth 25cm. Interior shelf at mid-height. Detached columns with gilded bronze ornamentations. The curtain is functional with a slight friction. Fine crack on one side visible in the last photo.
