Caned piano stool by Jacob & Josef Kohn 19th century

Very beautiful piano stool from the viennese manufacturer jacob & josef köhn. Entirely made of wood, it consists of a round, caned seat, inserted into a 4-branch foot, thanks to a steel screw. This screw allows height adjustment, in order to adapt to the pianist, and locks thanks to an ingenious tightening key system. Solid and robust, it has acquired a patina over the decades, its color has taken on pretty nuances and a wonderful shine. It is very solid and stable. The caning is in very good condition. The whole of course has traces of its long life, traces which make all its charm and authenticity. This stool is of excellent manufacturing quality, like all jacob & josef köhn furniture, like what thonet did in france.
