Japanese linocut of a Japanese woman in yukata with parasol in Prussian blue

I present to you a linocut that captures the beauty of an elegant Japanese woman, dressed in a traditional yukata, waiting under the cherry blossom trees with a parasol to protect herself from the sun. This unique and emblematic scene of Japanese culture inspired me to create a linocut faithful to the image. By manually engraving a linoleum plate and printing on a smooth or wenhzou paper, I was able to create a sharp and detailed image. For those who prefer a touch of poetry and softness, I offer a variation of linocut in which I used a palette of soft colors to surround the silhouette of petals. There will be only 100 prints, each signed and numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on the reverse. Sold without mount or frame.
